aquarium light bad for ur health?
so the LFS told me that the plastic guard on the fixtures is to prevent UV light from going out because its damaging. my aquarium is on my desk right next to where i spend most of my time studying and such. is this bad? my fixture i got, the orbit from current, has the plastic.
is this true? |

if its an DE pendent light yes, if its not its just probably to protect the bulb from the water that might splash.

yep..a de bulb needs the protectant UV glass..SE bulbs are good to go so long as you don't stare directly into them.

PCs are no different than the flourescent lights that are every where for normal lighting.
