Featherduster ?

i bought one a Hawaiian duster about 4 weeks ago. Now i only have NO lighting and about a week and half after i got him he lost his feathers or tenacles. I thought he died and i left him in there because i coudl see him moving, now 2 and a half weeks later he pops out with little feathers. DO they shed??

sounds like he lost his cap when you put him in your system. They do this when something bothers them or upsets them. It should be all right. They do grow back again..
