Skimmer 24/7??

My Coralife SS 220 will arrive today from Big Als. I am new to skimmers so can you guys/gals tell me do we need to run skimmers 24/7 or can we use it on a timer ? My bioload is low right now as all I have is 11 blueleg Hermits, 1 Margarita Snail and 1 Dragonette (skooter blenny) in my 90 gal.

Thanks!

Might as well run it 24/7 unless you have noise concerns (such as if its in your bedroom, etc)

I would leave it on all the time. The only time I turn mine off is to give it a bath in Vingar or to clean the sump.

I leave my coralife super skimmer 125 on 24/7. The only time I turn it off is when I am feeding. The skimmer gos nuts for about two hours so I just leave it off during that time.
