Best compact flourescent???

I am looking for a good dual bulb compact flourescent fixture. It would be for a 29 gallon tank that will be a semi-reef with some low light corals. Now, what kind of fixture do you recommend. Here is waht Im looking for:

1. 2 bulbs
2. 2 lunar lights (will settle for one)
3. Must be under $130
4. A built in fan would be nice, but not necessary.

Check premiumaquatics clearance section. Or you could do tek T-5 retro 2 bulbs for that price and be a whole lot happier.

dandy7200---48 watts of T-5 is not going to be brighter than 130 watts of PC.
There are a several PC lights in the 30" width that you need for a 29 gallon. Current USA is coming out with a new T-5 light in November. It will have individual reflectors, etc, but no price is available yet. For $130 a PC light will be the ticket. R

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113345
Pros of ^^^light:
1. Cheap
2. Two switches
3. Dual bulbs set one in front of the other as oppose to one on the left side and one on the right.

Cons:
1. Only 1 lunar Light

the current usa sattelite fixture and the coralife aqua somthing or another ( they are almost identical ) you can get for under 130 bucks.

for a few bucks more and if you look in the right shops you can probably find a current usa orbits fixture ..again samething as the satellite but with a better reflector and ballist.

since you have a 29 gallon tank i guessing its 30" wide and the above mentioned fixture some in 30" and can be mounted. ( please keep in mind the 30" fixture uses 24" bulbs )

and they all have the attributes you are looking for.

Yea, I am kinda waiting for the Orbit to go on sale for a decent price. I mainly shop at foster & Smith so, I am watching them closely. Sometimes they have like red tag sales, and you can get really good deals. Well, my tank is still cycling... so, I have time to wait.

For what its worth Ive had a satelite on my tank now for 2 years. No complaints. Orbits look pretty nice though.

Ok, well Ill put it this way. I am looking to get the orbit, and I am willing to spend a few extra bucks on it. But, if I cant find it I will be more than happy to buy the satelites.
