unknown part anyone know what this is

i think it came with a knop calcium reactor but not sure
there is two tubes thru the pipe one short and one long

Knop bubble counter. Water level above the short tube, below the long one.

u say knop bubble counter but i assume u dont mean the co2 bubble counter cause that is mounted with the reactor
is it use to disapate excessive co2 and have you seen this come with the knop reactor

maybe someone ran 2 bubble counters (???)
Why. who knows...I don't think it would have originally came with the KNOP-C though. The one I had was mounted to the backplate and looked like it belonged there...
