In Rotterdam, tap water TDS is ~250

Be sure to calibrate your meter.

Very low in Gloversville in 49-57 have been my reedings. I thought my tds meter was broke when I first tested it, till I talked to Dave C. When I live in Scotia it was 350 +.

Filter direct 6100, 0 out

Filter Direct 6100 also. ~180ppm in and 0 out.

Be sure to let the RO/DI unit drain for 30 seconds before collecting the water. Sometimes you will get higher than 0ppm initially, but it will drop back down after the 30 seconds. Do a search for TDS creep if you're interested in knowing why.

Being that my TDS is low to start off is probably why I havent had any problems to date using the tap water... I'm glad I have ro/di now though, I'm sure everything in the tank will be much more happy in another month or two...

Ken,

I let it run like you said, the tds meter usually says 15ppm out for a few seconds then zero's out, thanks for the heads up !

well i may have a highest score here, not so proud of it out of my well is like 2600(yes 2600), and after water softner if 200-300 and after a RO/TFC unit if stll in the 80+ range VERY hard WATER here, I then added a DI so i would think its near 0 dont have a TDS moniter (was all tested by the Culligan man)

peace
mike
