Rotating Water Deflectors?

Any one have opinions on those rotating attachments that turn power heads into "wavemakers"? I was thinkin about ordering one since my tank is only 30gl was thinking it would help change my static current....
Thanks
Ryan

I have one, and it works really well. I have to soak it in vinegar about once every couple months to keep it working smoothly. My only complaint is that i have a cube that limits the space between the glass and the deflector adds about another inch to the powerhead.

I've been using one for about 2 months with no complaints other than it takes up a lot of space in my aqua pod!

Another question about these things, in my size tank i already went ahead and put one on a maxijet 600, it works great but now i think i may need to upgrade to a MJ 1200 becuase it certainly reduces the flow. Would a 900 be sufficient or should i go for a 1200 i want to keep debris off a pagoda coral and live rock and simulate a more non-static flow
