Help on what size bulkheads to drill for on 125

I have a 125 I am getting ready to setup. It is not drilled and I want to drill it and silicone a overflow or two in it so I can hardplumb it. What size bulkheads should be used. I am thinking 1.5 for the drain and 1 inch for the return. I am wanting to drill two of each, one on each side.

Also I am thinking the Eheim 1260 or 1262 for the return pump, or even a large Mag series, like 18. The drains will be feeding a 55 gallon sump/refuge. Can that pump been ran outside the sump, not submerged in any water? Trying to think of ways to keep heat down.

Thanks,
Eric

Very interesting read. Do you have any suggestions for the pumps? Also I just got thinking about using powerheads for additional water movement in the tank. I do not think I want to plumb a closed loop, what about using two modded maxi jets?

Eric

I think I am going to do 4, one inch for a built in overflow and two more for a closed loop. Then 3/4 for closed loop return and 1.5 inch for sump to return pump.
