best way to break up large pieces of live rock
I have a couple 30 or so pound pieces of live rock in my tank, I would like to break em down into maybe 3 smaller pieces, what is the best way to break it up so I would end up with a few nice pieces?

I use a wood chisel and hammer to break up rock.
I just put it on my garage floor on top of a towel, to keep the mess down.

Agreed. Chisels are a great tool to have around for breaking up rock and fragging corals.

Being large, and if you have a specific shape, I'd drill a few holes first using a masonry bit, then hit it with the chisel.
