Micro bubbles with MRC-2/mrc sump
I am running a mr-2 skimmer with a mag-24 in a mrc reef sump. The main tank is a 120g AGA with megaflows. Between the skimmer and the stand pipes I an getting an overwhelming amount of micro bubbles. Any help would be great...

Do you have a valve on your return so you can throttle it back?
Most experts only recommend 3x-5x flow through the sump for this very reason.

yes ,I have ball valves on both . my return pumps (2) are mag 9.5 and the head is 6 ft so I am pushing about 1250 gph. If I remove the stand pipes and regulate the water with the ball valves I get less bubbles but it's not very safe... ???
