Hey everybody,
a few months ago I had taken the thermometer out of the tank, and I need to put it back in now. What is the best way to clean it? I heard some people use vinegar, is that right??? Any help is appreciated- as always. |

You can do that with your pumps also - run them in a vinegar/water solution overnight. It may also require some hand scrubbing for more stubborn buildup.

Muriatic acid can be used, although I'd dilute it 10:1 with water. It's more dangerous than vinegar, but it can remove more stubborn deposits.
