Crab Traps
Anyone ever had any luck catching crabs with one of these ? Seems like you could make one with plastic bottle or something for a cheaper.
Any other trap ideas for catching crabs. I've got two gorilla crabs in my tank.

I've used an empty Mayo jar. Put some food in the jar. Lean the jar up against a rock.
The crab will crawl in, but can't get out. Works Great! |

So far that has not worked for me, but I'll keep trying.
Did you find certain foods worked better than others? Did the crabs respond to that trick right away, or did it take awhile?

I use a glass or a small vase. I've had it take a couple days. Put in some real meaty food, and drop it at an angle just after the lights go out.
