lighting a 54 corner

i have a SE250 14K Hamilton on an icecap electronic ballast on a 54 corner its BB as well.. light is spread evenly and the SPS are in the midle with LPS on the outsides.. my Q is this enough or should i go with 2 250's?? i am getting decent groth color coule be better.. i personaly am thinking this is not enough light, but everyone i speak to thinks it is.. colors and growth could be better i think.. levels are ca 450, ni 0, na 0, amm 0, alk 8.5, ph 8.2, po4 0..levels seem great, in my last move some things browned out a bit and have been very slow to color back up..should i just go 10K XM??

The XM10k is a very bright bulb. Not sure what this will do to your color of course.

I run 2x250W on a 55g. It is a lot of light.
