Dosing Kalkwasser ?

Ok getting ready to setup a Kalkwasser Nilsen Reactor. Explain the best way to dose my Tank, what I have setup now is a 38 gal tank in the other room for my RO/DI top off water, which is ran by a elect float switch in my sump. I could do either of 2 things setup the elect float switch to my Nautilis II doser pump so when the tank needs water it turns on the doser pump to fill up the Kalkwasser Reactor...and overflows into the sump. Or I could just setup the Doser pump to feed the Kalkwasser Reactor at a continues rate to replace the evap water. Im leaning toward the float switch just for safety. With the ATO setup I have now I think it pumps a cup a hour..Im just guessing.

So which would be the best way to go....
TIA
Brian
