Coralife skimmer pump
Are the needle wheel pumps that come with the Coralife skimmers any good?

Good for the skimmer you mean? Sure. I've had the CSS 125 for about 2 years and it just quit working on me. Before that, the pump worked for. But now the venturi isn't pulling air, and I think it needs replacing.

The pump that comes with the 65 model is just a rio 1100. Mines held up for about a year now without any problems. I think the 125 and 220 use a differen't pump that's a foreign pump.

I think the pump for the 125 is from taiwan.
