return pump

Hi.I am setting up a 20h with a 10 gallon sump/fuge(has baffles) and am looking for a return pump.Tank is about 3 ft to top and am going to use a single spraybar return(1/2 inch pvc drilled a few times).I think i like the mag 3 or 5,am concerned about heat,noise and too much flow through sump/fuge.Any suggestions are appreciated.Thx.

I would go with a Eheim if you are concerned about noise and heat. Eheim 1250 is only 28wts. They are great pumps and last. I use a 1262 on my 150 for my return.

Thanks.I hadn't looked at the eheims for fear of $$$, but the 1250 is right there.

I just put a Quiet One 1200 on my 20L and it seems to be working great.
Cheap and small.
