how does one clean a glass tank without damage?

i am wondering how to clean in the corners without damaging the sealant. isn't there a bead in the tank that can be damaged by a razor blade or other scraping device?

i am trying to decide between glass or acrylic.

I use a plastic bristle brush on a long handle for the corners. But I use a plastic razor blade holder on a long stick for the glass part. The corners don't seem to get very dirty.
