T5's
Hey,
I have been interested in buying a T5 setup and would like to know the good and bads about this lighting setup. Is it better than Metal Halides? If any of you have tanks with T5 lighting please post pictures if possible. Thanks, Ali

I have T5s and they aren't as bright, but they are bright enough IMO. Especially if you get 8 T5 tubes.

I've seen tanks that are brighter than MH and I've seen tanks that are dimmer than MH. And some of these are even measure with PAR meters.

Here is mine when I first started with 4x 52W T5s. Two are actinic, the other two are 10K. There is a Nova T-5 with 8x 52W that I'm sure would be much brighter, but I didn't think it was necessary.
