ASM G4, G4+, G4X, what's the diff???
can someone go over the major diff between the three. which would I need for a 180, with 125 sump/refugium primarily SPS system????

g-4 has a sedra 5000 pump
g-4plus has a sedra 9000 g-4x has a sedra 9000 and is taller i might have them mixed up but i think its right

so does that make one more efficient or better? i mean best i can tell that just means it can handle a little larger volume. right?

i feel it all depend on your set up.what do you plan on keeping??if it gonna be sps or heavy fish load go with the taller bigger pump model.i LOVE these skimmers.had a g-3 on my 90 sps now i have a g-4 with a 9000 recirc and a 5000 feed pump.a standard g-4 would prolly be good but if you have the room and extra $$$ i think the upgrade would be worth it.nice meeting you too.

yeah, i'm gonna go with the G4x. as of now plan is for heavy SPS and mod fish load.
