Are these being considered for the 37 gallon tank?

If so I would steer you away from them and recommend you get a better skimmer.

Tunze, ASM, Euroreef, Deltec, Shuran, Precision Marine, AquaC...

I would absolutely agree with you... except... this little thing called money!

You would be better off getting a coralife super skimmer. The 65 model only runs around $80 and the 125 model runs around $100

Unless you've got a monster tank, or lots of extra money to spend, I would buy the skimmer you can afford. I got a red sea berlin (used on e-bay) and am amazed at the amount of skimmate it removes from my tank.

There are two places to spend the cash IMO. Lights and skimmers.

Looks like many people like that skimmer. Any links with those prices?

I agree with you there. That is why I am looking to upgrade the skimmer I have. Currently I am using a Seaclone and I know that I am in the minority but I have been using it for over a year with very good success. Its currently on a 20 gal with 2 clowns, couple hermits and a couple peppermint shrimp. That's it and that thing pulls out at least a cup or two of DARK skimmate per week. Skims dry, but in my opinion works well. It is a stock model. I was planning on trying to mod and see if I can get it to work even better. I am currently setting up the 37 with a 20 gal sump and that is the only reason I plan on upgrading the skimmer. I feel the SeaClone is OK for 20 gals but not 57.
