20K bulb shining 10K?
Today when my 2 250 20,000K MH's kicked on one of them pretty much started glowing white-yellow at best. Usually these bulbs are glowing ice blue. The bulbs are only about 2.5 months old and I've never had a problem like this before. The same ballast runs both bulbs, and the other is glowing the right color. What could possibly be my problem? Anyone else experienced this too?

I notice this with my metal halides when they first start up. After about a minute, they turn into a bluish color.
If your bulb remains yellow after a minute, there could be something wrong with your bulb. You can double check by switching out the good bulb from your other pendant to confirm whether it is a bad bulb or not. |

Basic troubleshooting skills come into play here.
By changing bulbs and ballasts around you should be able to easily isolate the faulty component. Bean |
