Water containers
I have a couple 6gal water containers that I use to pick up my RO water. I went to buy some water, and got a really nasty mildew smell in one of them. What's bad is I added some water from one of these things the other day and didn't give the smell a second though.
Would it be ok to clean these using bleach then let water set in there with some chlorine remover? Any input would be great. Thanks, Lou |

Yeah it's ok, just really dilute the bleach and clean well using a product with a chlorine remover like amquel or stress coat. I've done it before and no problems. To be sure, when you are done cleaning you could fill it with water, wait a day then test the water for chlorine.
