Help identifying something?
I will add pictures tonight when I get home. It looks a lot like a spider web, mucus, or "smoke" in a few crevices of my rock. I don't know what it is or whether it's good or bad. My cleaner shrimp ignore it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

might be a speghetti worm. They have tentacles on one end that they branch out from one point to the surrounding LR. The tentacles catch stuff floating around in the water on them and they pull them back in and eat it.

Sounds like vermited snail . harmless filter feeder . But the web can bother some coral if the webb hangs on them . Pic would be great.

i will post one for sure when I get home. It does seem to branch out and looks like a line from a spider web, but looks kind of "snotty" too.
