Feeding troubles

I have a butterfly fish that almost all authors on marine livestock care have mentioned should be fed several times a day.

When I thaw out a frozen food cube, I feed just a small portion of it the the fish. Then later in the day I feed him again from the same cup that was sitting out next to the tank. I do this so altogther I feed about 4 times a day but each time its very little food.

So here comes the perceived problem. Is that food sittting out during the day spoiling? I mean I know it is because bacteria is present in the air, but is it spoiling enough in a single day to be a problem?

I know putting it in the fridge would slow down the spoilage but my girl won't let me put it in the fridge.

I could just use two cubes a day but I would rather not have to throw out have the stuff each day.

Why won't she let you put it in the fridge?

Get some Small Glad Ware containers and store it in one of those between feedings.

How much deeper would the ocean be if it didn't have sponges?

it might be easier for you if you got the kind that is in a sheet style package. That way you could break off a small amount each time.

I know that doesn't help you for now, but something to look at for the future.

Get a small fridge or get rid of the girl
