Tiny little white speck-sized "creatures"

Help! I've got these tiny little white speck-sized creatures in my FOWLR tank. The tank has live sand, live rock, and two cleaner shrinps only - no fish yet. Does anyone know what these are and what to do about them?

Thanks.

Could you give more description or, even better, a picture? That could describe any number of things from copepods (which would be my first guess) to spirorbid worms.

From your description in email:

Quote:
They look like they have a round to oval shaped body - some appear to have two body parts (like a head and thorax) with many leg-like extensions and two thin tail-like attachments comming out of the back end.
It sounds kind of like an isopod. Here is a macro photo of one in my tank. Don't mind the dirty glass!

I think you've got it. I'll check the internet for more info about these ittle guys, but I take it that they're good for the tank?

Thanks again.
