Pic file type
I just got some help from Randall James, thanks by the way, but I still have a problem. The file size is now small enough to post, but the image is jpeg and apparently that format can't be used here could anyone tell me if there is a way to convert file types?

I just tried one and it worked so there must be some other issue. Where are you stuck? Do you have it on a hosting site already?
Software that can resize can often convert file type but you should not have to. We have a basic Microsoft program at work that gets confused between .jpeg and .jpg; which typically should not be an issue. What did you use to resize? |

I'm not sure what is going on I bring up the picture from Win pic and fax viewer on xp. The image is jpeg. when I go to attach the pic a window pops up that says it is an invalid file type.

jpeg and jpg files can be uploaded to your gallery, then use the [IMG ] tags around the URL of the pic. under every pic in your gallery there will be a line at the bottom that says: Use this in img tag:. the http:.......... is the URL. put [img ] in front of the URL and [/img ] at the end with out any spaces between.
