pics of my new goby & pistol shrimp pair.
my randallis pistol shrimp and yasha haze goby paired up and they are getting use to the tank so they come out more, so i decided to take some pics.
here are the two and here are some with the clownfish getting a little to close for the gobys comfort. and here is a fts just for the heck of it. |

I love those pictures. Great pair, that goby looks so cute when he is angry.

Very pretty fish, we have 4 of them and love them. They are sexually dimorphic, if you plan on trying to find a mate for it you need a good view of their pectoral fin.

Awesome! I just got a Randall's but unfortunatly there were no Tiger Pistol's to pair him with. I was told they CAN pair with Candy Striped so I got one of them instead....Put em in and tried to make them close to each other but unfortunatly they either didn't pair and the shrimp is in hiding or the fairy wrasse got him Pretty expensive snack if he did get eaten lol.

Randall's shrimp gobies can pair with the Randall's pistol shrimp, but they don't always pair on first contact, especially when they are stressed. The bad news is that the fish won't pair with a shrimp it can't see, and the shrimp don't like to go out during the day. The best advice I could give is to give the tank a low light dusk and dawn, and hope for the best.

Did you get both at the same time? From Pets Inc?
I have been looking for this combo and haven't found any where to get them. Jim
