Talking Epoxy in the water?

I dont know anything about this stuff so that is why I ask..
Can you use that epoxy stuff under water? I have some candycanes that keep falling over and I want to "glue" then to the rocks or to some kinda base or shell. Can it be done like this or is there another way?

Tracy,

As long as you epoxy is free of Amonia, you could use it. That's what I've read a lot in the forums.

Regards

The epoxy putties can be used underwater. I would however, recommend doing this outside of the tank. Also, it does not work very well as a glue (as in glueing 2 flat pieces together), but it works as cement where it will mold around an object and once it harderns will hold it in place.

Thanks, that is what I am going to do. Right after I made this post, I saw the article in Reefkeeping that shows how to epoxy a frag
