How Long will corals last w/out light?

My light is on the fritz and I am taking it for repair tommorrow. How long will corals (SPS) last w/out it? Hope to have it back tommorrow or in two days though.

2 days should be fine. Do you have any sun light getting at the tank? I did a move from UT and had no light on the corals for 2 maybe 3 days and things did just fine.

Well, the way I look at it is that it isn't always a sunny day on the reef, so a couple of days should be OK. Maybe someone can chime in who has experienced the same thing.

I occasionally give my tank "hurricane" time and keep the lights off or actinics only time.
