help stocking
i am in the process of clearing out my tank of all "not reef safe" fish...(i am giving them to friends, so dont call PETA on me)
any way i want start adding coral...as a new coral person what are some good ones to start out with.

Clowns were my first, chromis are good choices, and I perosnaly like firefish.

I didn't realize clowns, chromis, and firefish were corals. j/k
Good stuff for beginners = zoanthids, mushrooms, star polyps, yellow polyps, xenia. Just be aware of their behaviors, such as xenia or star polyps can take over your tank if left unchecked. I keep my green star polyps on their own island so they can't grow all over my rock. Xenia manages to find ways to pop up everywhere. Yellow polyps will just keep marching along if not kept off on their own too.
