xenia on live rock

I have a lot of xenia on my live rock and i want to get rid of it. Try cutting them off but they keep coming back.i will like to get rid of all so i can change to SPS.Can anyone help me?

Trade to fellow reefer or take to LFS and trade for cured LR and credit.

Or buy a Hippo tang, my hippo nips at it. Does not kill it, just keeps it from spreading.

i have been trading at the LFS with my frags but the one's that i cut always come back even when i cut it all the way down. Do you thonk i should scrub it off with something because it's on my large LR and i don't it with the SPS when i buy it.

I dont think it will be easy to do. You need to scrub the rock clean.New xenia will sprout where ever the foot was.Why get rid of , there great filter feeders just weed them back.

boil the rock to be sure youd be amazed where that stuff comes back from i have it sprouting everywhere

I accidentally killed my Xenia with a treatment of Kanaplex. I don't recommend this, though...lol. Three other fish died. *sigh*
