Ca reactor recommendation please
I am in the market for a new ca reactor. Can anyone give me there recommendation and why they picked it? My tank is 165 gal net. I have been looking at Schuran, Geo, and the local fish store carries deltec. Is there any advantage to up fed units or fluidized units? What is the best pump to feed the units?

geo is awesome
I just received a Geo 6 X 12 and the unit is constructed incredibly, place for a ph probe and has absolutley every connection that you will need, I am going to feed the unit with a maxijet 400

I wish I had a store that carried Deltec (or anything other than the usual Made in China junk.) I have a GEO reactor and am happy with it.

Aquatic System Design
Their website is down right now but you can email him: scott AT aquaticsystemsdesign DOT com Scott's a great guy. I've bought multiple things from him, custom acrylic work, as well as a kalk reactor just recently. I've also seen a lot of tanks that he's built for guys around here. His dedication to his work is awesome. All the seams are perfect and he's continually perfecting his designs.. My kalk reactor works flawlessly. I plan on purchasing a calcium reactor from him in a month or two. |

Geo or Precision Marine. and xtrstangx is right, Scott is a great guy. Schuran looks great, but I have heard from some vendors while investigating the same question, that getting parts is almost impossible (if unfortunately something is needed at a later date). I have no personal experience with any of the above but have been looking closely at all info for the past few months as I am setting up a SPS tank
FWIW
