VHO bulb choice
I know most people don't do VHO's anymore but anyway I am about to change my VHO bulbs and was woundering if someone could give me some idea on the bulb choice i was thinking my tank is a standered 55gal tank right now i have 4 36" VHO's 2 acintic and 2 10k i was thinking of changing that to 2-10k, 1-20k, and 1-acintic would this be a good or bad idea right now i have mostly softies one lps and one sps frag (just thought i would try it seening that it was a free frag from my reef club {thanks} )
would this help the growth and well being of my tank or would it be a waste of time and would it be a really blue or yellow look to it any advice would be usefull thanks dez

110W VHO bulbs are only 48" long.
The 20K bulb will have more light output than the actinics, but you might not like the color of the tank. Two 10K daylight bulbs, one 20K and one actinic will have a tiny bit more green/yellow color than you have now. Dan
