loud pumps - does it mean there is air in it?

I am setting up a closed loop and my pump is running extremely loud. I am wondering if it is due to the fact I don't have all of the air out of the non-self priming pump.

if not - the pump has got to be one of the loudest on the market (quiet one 2350 gph)

Thanks,
