Orange Coralline algae

Hello everyone. I was able to get a somewhat decent picture of some orange coralline algae. I have different small spots of this in my tank. It usually only hangs around for a week or so before turning a dark red. Im pretty sure I remember reading before that someone else has had this orange coralline pop in their tanks. My question is has anyone been able to keep it orange? Like stated above mine only lasts for a couple of weeks. In the picture below you can see the orange between some red, pink and purple. I wish I could get it to stay like that color, but with a thriving tank I wouldnt change anything to keep it that way. Just thought I would share and see if anyone else has any.

I've seen coraline change many weird colors......when it's dying. Ever moved your tank and let some of your rock dry out.....then you put it in the water and the coraline is all different colors?

It comes in all kinds of colors but always seems to end up turning pink.

my coralline has lots of weird colors. Bright pastel red, blue, purple, pink, and even slightly white from fading near top of tank and proximity to halides.

I had orange once but then again, I accidentally drop super glue on the rock. I do have green and deep purple but mainly pink as well.
that looks nice though

I have never seen yellow corraline. I believe that live rocks yellow colors come from encrusting sponges. I have those too, bright neon yellow. Very Cool and fast growing in dark aread, I have alot in the ledges and crevices of my reef.

I will try and get a better picture although I dont know what your looking for. Its flat, hard, and is mixed in with the other coralline. I know its coralline. It just pops up and then turns red.

As stated above, I've only seen it turn orange when it is dead.
I have seen pink, purple, lime green, forest green and beige corraline.
If it is alive, you should try to cultivate it.
- I'd buy rock with orange corraline.

mine turns hot pink right before it dies

sometimes ill get mas die-offs, like half the tank up it will all die off the glass, but be fine on the rocks, it usually comes back fast though

Yeah I know its not my other coralline dieing. This only pops up on bare rock. It only keeps the orange color for a couple of days and then turns dark red. I wish I could get it to stay like that it looks nice. Here is a picture from a different spot. Sorry my camera is a junker.

I don't think it's corraline. Im pretty sure it's a type of encrusting macro algae.
I've never noticed it starting out orange, but I've seen this dark red Macro on virtually every batch of Pacific LR I've ever seen.
