Aquarium Bible?
I'm a newcomer to the hobby and I love it! However, I've become very frustrated with the literature . . . some books say a particular speciman is hardy or easy to keep, other books say that it extremely difficult. Is there an "aquarium bible" that simply gives us the truth or reality of it all. Thanks for your help.

What do you want to keep? The reefcentral books page is a great place to start. http://www.reefcentral.com/books/
Each year, new books come out. Every once in awhile, a new book becomes the new bible. My favorite all around book is Natural Reef Aquariums: Simplified Approaches to Creating Living Saltwater by John H. Tullock. A good all around fish book is Marine Fishes: 500+ Essential-To-Know Aquarium Species (The Pocketexpert Guide Series for Aquarists and Underwater Naturalists, 1) (Paperback) by Scott W. Michael Michael has several popular books on fish. There are lots of other great books. It just depends on what you are interested in. Best of luck, Roy |
