membrane install

Which way should the membrane be installed into the chamber?
the orings opposite end of the cap, or towards the cap? The guy who sold it to me wasn't sure...

The end with the two small rubber orings goes away from the cap. The end with the single large rubber gasket - called a "brine seal" goes near the cap.
