adding stock into new tank after tank leak....

Alright my tank decided to sprout a leak this weekend. I was able to get all of it out and into a large rubbermaid tote. With 90% of the water. Gave me a reason to set up the 75. I just added all sorts of sand to the new tank and it is now half full with water. The water is cloudy from the sand...How long before you would start adding the fish rock and coral back....Wait till its mostly clear?
