need fast help....tank transfer
hey i have a 24g aquapod with 1 clown and a small clean up crew ......rock and sand
i wanna go to a 10g what should i do to transfer.,,, ---i wanna scrub my rock too while i transfer(alot of algea on it) **should i take 5g of my old tank water and 5g of new water or should i do 10g new water or 10g or old water** btw it will aslo get hooked up to a 10g sump...wich is already in place and filled with the tank water from the aquapod so i wanna prevent like a cycle so what should i do i neeed help fast b/c i need to get this done as soon as possible |

I would use all old water. Since you are moving everything you should be fine. Disturbing the sand will cause a small cycle no matter what, I wouldn't worry about it. Just do a water change the day after you move it.
Either way I don't think it should be an issue. This is my opinion, do with it as you will.
