pump suggestions for a remora pro

my reio 1700 pump for my remora stopped working after a short while, and I don't plan on getting another. so, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what's a good quiet pump and what size that I could use for my skimmer. my lfs has a lot of mag drives, odyssey's, and reios, so I was wondering if they were any good. It may not be a big deal, but the pump has to fit in a pre-skimmer box. thanks

I've got a mag 3 on mine and it's a really big pump compared to an mj1200 and a rio 1100 (the only other pumps i have). Also, my mag 3 can tend to make very slight sounds (rattling). It's slight, but there. However it's a very powerful pump. I'd say to try one, but be sure it will fit in to your prefilter box... cuz like I said, it's a big pump.

My favorite is the Maxijet 1200. I would use this pump on my remora pro if I could figure out how to attach it properly. The maxijets output nozzle is tiny, so the normal flex tubing that comes with the remora won't fit on it. I suppose I could get smaller flex tubing... but I'm lazy

thanks p-deezy. I guess my laziness kicks in as well, and I will try out the mag 3.
