refugium in my sump
Alright guys I'm taking advice I ve read here and removing my bio-balls from my sump. I plan to just make it a refugium. I plan to just build a tower in the corner to let the water run through a small amount of live rock before coming out the bottom of the tower into the refugium then over a wall and back to the tank. Does this sound like a plan ?

sounds like a good start. i would put live sand in the refuguim (4-6") to control nitrates. also if you add chaeto and a grow light it will help control more nitrates and also ammonia. good luck and REEF-ON!

Yep, sounds like you are on the right path. You and your tank will be much happier with this setup.
