calcium reactor

How often should you change the media in a reactor??

sorry nobody answered you. The general answer is 3 to 6 months. As the media is disolved, it will get smaller and softer, it will start to clog, causing back pressure, and channeling in the media. Knop reactor instructions recommend changing and cleaning reactor every 3 months. When you clean out and change the media, check your C02 bottle, it may be time to top it off.

my media never disolved and my levels are all good so i never changed it.
