I wouldn't advise it: angels, like tangs, have a high oxygen requirement, and they're nervous sorts, particularly the lemonpeels: I love them too, but I'd consider one [besides being non-reef-friendly] too antsy for a 50. Also, I wouldn't add any angel or tang to a tank that's brand new: new tanks have chemistry events that stress fish. You need something tougher for starters. Let the tank build some resiliency into its reactions, and get more microlife to sustain a perpetual browser.

Most nano's are suited best for inverts; there are however a series of fish that do not exceed 4''s when mature.
Fish such as Neon Gobies make excellent nano occupants.

I would be hesitant to put one in a 24. not only that, the lemonpeels are not as hardy many of the other dwarf angel. You might could get away with a pygmy angel but I still think the tank is a little on the small side for one.

I'm sorry, but of course a lemonpeel cannot go in a 24 g
First - they get 5 and a half inches long And second, BiggySmalls, to reiterate, I recommend you take the advice given you in this thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=977217 The only angel you could even consider for a 24g tank are the 3 or so argi angels, especially the tiny flameback which only reaches about 2 and a half inches. It is like keeping a border collie in a one room apartment.
