The best skimmer
What is the best skimmer, HOB or in-sump, for a 55 gallon that is under $200.

I think an in sump skimmer is better then the HOB kind if you have a sump ready. I'd get a ASM G1. It's about $180 and just as good as a Euro-Reef.

I would think in sump gives you more flexibility, there is a third option which is external out of sump too.
What ever you do make sure you get something rated at more than a 55.

Yes the euro reef is much nicer looking than a ASM but they both seem to work as good as the other one
