Cleaning an empty tank
What is the best way to clean an empty tank? I bought a used tank and was able to clean most of the loose mud etc. from the sides. There is still alot of green algae on the sides.
Is there any chemical i can use to clean the tank insides along with a good flush? |

vinegar in a spray bottle. Lay the tank on its dirty side and let some white vinegar soak on it for about 20 minutes then wipe it off with a blade or credit card and warm water.

Or lay vinnegar wetted paper towels. Also I've heard that 1:10 dilluted bleach could also work, but I'd try vinnegar first. Maybe a few applications will be needed for tough junk.
