Help me please! What skimmer?
The setup I have is a 150g tank with a 65g sump etc. Its going to be a reef and I want to know what I should do filtration wise. What would be a good skimmer to handle this amount of water and what else can I do to make the setup pretty much self centered? Thanks ahead of time!

You have a lot of options available. It all really centers around your budget. You can buy a decent skimmer for a few hundred dollars on up the $3000. Euroreefs are pretty economical and work well. I don't have any personal experience but hear good things about ASM's.

I have the ASM G2 on my 90 gal and I really like it. Have owned several others in the past and this has been my best purchase so far

If you're even thinking about getting an ASM, you should instead check out the Reef Octopus skimmers. They are cheaper, built better, perform just as well if not better than the ASM.... Did I mention cheaper?

I second the RO skimmer. I Run an ASM G3 It works fine. The RO is just as good, is built way better and costs far less. You can get an RO NW200 8 inch body skimmer for around 210 bucks. An ASM G3 is going to run you 260+ for a 6.5 inch skimmer.
