MH ballast question

I recently acquired a light hood with two mogul base halides in addition to vho's. The halide ballast is magnetic and is in a riveted enclosure. It came with 175w bulbs. Can I run 250's with this ? Or do I need to drill out the rivets and see what specs if any are listed on the ballast ?

no the bulb must match the ballast.
