HELP PLEASE....Skimmer question Help!!!

I have a 300 gallon tank with approximately 220-250 or so gallons of water......I have been running 2 coralife skimmers on it....Im thinking of upgrading to a new MRC 3 Skimmer will I benefit from doing this it will cost over $600.00 so Im trying to justify it?????

Please help me make up my mind....

Thanks Joe

right now Im dosing the system.....calcium reactor is in the near future...thats why I don't want to spend the money on a skimmer....

here is a shot of the skimmers at work....the chiller is now moved//////

You've got all this nice & big equipment & you're asking if you should upgrade those "Playskool" skimmers........................lol

Just playing w/ ya...................Ya that'd be the first thing I do................It will amaze you how much more efficient a "real" skimmer will be.......................

MRC's are great for a beckett, but I'd check out an ASM too............You can get a G4 & recirc it for a lot less then the MRC......

Steve

http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch...egory_Code=ASM

You can do a recirc & gate valve on it for another $125 (including pump) or so, thereby making it external if you want.

I'd consider upgrading the size of your sump also...............bigger sump=more water volume=more stability
