Metal Halide quick question
I just ordered 3 175 watt 15k metal halides. I was wondering what is the height they should be above the water surface. I have corals close to the top of the water also to mention.

I have my 150W 10,000K about 4" above the top of the tank. The SPS seem to like it!

My 175 watt 10 K Reeflux halides are about 4"above the water line. I will temporarily raise the fixture when I get the 175 watt 15 K Iwasaki's as they have greater PAR and slowly lower them back to the 4" mark. This is on my 75 gallon mixed reef.
