automatic set up

hello all. thanks for taking the time to read this. i am posting this here because i am trying to learn about something i never really looked into. that is an automatic set up.
i want to learn how to set up a r/o to a system with auto top off. and how to operate the whole thing through a controller
any help would be greatly appreciated

There are lots of approaches. I just use float switches to control a peristalitic pump, but I don't connect the RO-DI to the reservoir, since I dose limewater. If you really want to connect the RO-DI to the top-off container, you should probably look into a pair of float switches (at least) and an electronic valve for the topoff container.

I think www.autotopoff.com has a system were you use a solinoid (sp) that hooks up to your RO/DI system.

There's definitlely tons of ideas about auto top off. I use an autotopoff.com dual float switch which feeds a small reservoir. I don't recommend plumbing the ro/di direct to the top off. Major flood potential. Besides the float switch, gravity feed top offs are about the safest most foolproof systems.
